2.Click “Site Actions”-“Edit in SharePoint Designer ”
Open the site https://XXX/SitePages/Home.aspx with SharePoint Designer.
In the Navigation bar click “Lists and libraries”,
In the Lists click “Tasks”, Select the list you want to custom.
3.In “Custom Action”, it will lists all action forms : Display Form Ribbon/Edit Form Ribbon/New Form Ribbon/View Ribbon
4. Now we select “View Ribbon” to custom a View Ribbon for the list.
In “Create Custom Action” type the Name with “Task Review Request” and Description with some descriptions.
Select the type of action
Advanced custom action options
Type the URL of the button image ,such as https://XXXX/picture%20center/Documents/b.png this is the picture I have uploaded to my site.
Click "OK"
5. Now we go to site collections ,go to Lists—Tasks—List Tools – Items
We will see we have customized a Ribbon UI named “Task Review Request”
